Hobbies & Interests
Sport has always been a massive part of my life. PE was my
favourite lesson at school studying it to A-level, learning
multiple sports & their tactics. I represented my school for
multiple sports teams which include Football,
Basketball, Swimming, Badminton, Table Tennis, Judo, Athletics
(school captain) & cricket, being honoured in year 11 as 'The Sports Boy of the year' and gaining full school colours. I
regularly go to watch sporting events & have done from a young age
watched everything from snooker to the Olympics Games, FIFA World
Cup, RFU World Cup, Ashes... I could go on but the list of sports
I follow is massive, so I wont list them, but lets just say I’m
prepared to take a pop quiz with my specilist subject being
sport. I continued to play sports after school, getting
involved in teams at university, as well as playing darts in the
local social leagues. I now regularly play 5-a-side football in a
weekly league being there star goalkeeper.
I was introduced in dance music in the early 90s by my sisters. When I was aged 14, I started buying vinyl. At Uni in Liverpool, immersed in the scene, it wasn't long before I started my own successful night at the student union. On my return to London I continued to club at Turnmills, The End & Fabric with Ibiza my favourite holiday hot-spot, enjoying the sunsets at café mambos & BBQs on Bora Bora. I've played bars & clubs around London under the banner Deep Dark n Funky since 2006, and have enjoyed success on radio hosting a Monday morning slot on UnknownFM. My current set up at home is technics 1210 MK3, pioneer CDJ-1000MK3, pioneer DJM 800.
